Little or No Cooking

Banana Tidbits
-
5 bananas
5 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons wheat germ
6 tablespoons chopped nuts
aluminum foil
toothpicks
Cut bananas into slices or chunks. Dip them into honey
and then roll them in the wheat germ and nuts. Place them
on a foil covered cookie sheet and refrigerate for an hour or so.
Poke with a toothpick and enjoy!

Protein Gems
-
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup raw oatmeal
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup walnuts or almonds
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup protein (vanilla or chocolate), available at health food stores
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut
Mix all ingredients together, except coconut. Shape into balls.
Roll in coconut and refrigerate.

Shrinking Snakes

1/2 cup dry powdered milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup chopped dates
2 heaping tablespoons shredded coconut
1 heaping tablespoon cocoa
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Blend milk and peanut butter together. Stir in other ingredients
one at a time. Place mixture on wax paper and roll with hands into
snake form. Tear off peices and enjoy! Store in refrigerator.

Yummy Candy Treat

1 cup honey
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups dry powdered milk
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup toasted wheat germ
Mix all ingredients together, except wheat germ. Shape into balls.
Roll in wheat germ and refrigerate.

Space Rations
-
3 cup peanut butter
2 cups dry powdered milk
1 1/2 cups honey
1 cup raisins
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Shape into 5 rolls.
Chill and slice as needed. If too dry, add a little more honey.

Frito Pie
-
3 cans chili
1 bag Fritos
1 package shredded cheddar cheese
Heat chili in sauce pan until hot. Place Fritos on individual plates
or bowls. Pour chili over top of Fritos and top with cheese.

Microwave Nachos

4 cups tortilla chips
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
Spread chips on microwave safe dish. Sprinkle cheese over chips.
Add hot sauce if desired. Microwave on hight for 2 to 3 minutes
or until cheese is melted.

Peanut Butter Banana Pops

1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/4 cup dry powdered milk
1 teaspoon honey
1/3 cup light cream
4 bananas
1/3 cup chopped nuts
Blend peanut butter, milk, honey, and cream until smooth.
Peel bananas, wrap in foil and freeze until hard.
Dip bananas into peanut mixture and roll in nuts.

Checkerboard Cookies

1 package miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup margarine
2 packages semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 cup peanut butter
Line a 9x9 cake pan with foil. Pour marshmallows on bottom of pan.
Melt chocolate and margarine in sauce pan, stir in peanut butter.
Pour mixture over marshmallows. Place pan in refrigerator until cold.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
