Tiger's Lair Masthead
October 1999

Fall Campout Information
Thanks to Don Venker for coordinating our campout at Brazos Bend on Nov 20-21. We will tour the Observatory located on the premises. Anyone interested in camping Friday evening please contact your den leader. Bicycles are permitted. Directions and other information are provided below.

Scout Fair
Get ready for the great Scout Fair at the Astrohall Complex on December 4. This year, Laura Mlachak, John & Lynda Rock are organizing a Disability Awareness Booth with six different activities. Each Scout that manages our booth for hour will complete one of the Disability Awareness Badge requirements and will also receive a Scout Fair Patch.

Scout Fair Ticket Sales
Thanks to the leadership of Tad and Susan Halback, the Pack had great success in selling Scout Fair tickets. We sold approximately 590 tickets at $5.00 each for $2,950.00. We also had $69.00 in donations. Between our share of the ticket revenue and the donations that we received, the Pack earned approximately $1249.00. Once again half of these proceeds will be passed on to the dens, with the distribution based on the number of boys in each den who participated in selling tickets. This money will help eac h den meet the cost of its craft projects and other activities during the year.

Webelos Woods
First & Second year Webelos will attend the Webelos Woods campout on Oct 16-17. They will be hosted by Troop 505. Directions are provided on the back of the Tigers Lair. Have fun boys.

A Scout is Proud to Wear His Uniform!
We encourage all scouts to wear their uniforms to den meetings, pack meetings and especially all outside functions in which our scouts are representing Pack 505.
